Rosé may just be the oldest known type of wine. This delightful Zinfandel Rosé is produced by using the direct press method on a select block for the legendary Serracino vineyard that was originally planted in the late 1800’s. The old vines and direct press result in a dry style of Rosé recognized for the low residual sugar levels, bright, crisp acidity and low alcohol. This was the first block of Zinandel harvested for the 2020 vinatge. Due to the Dry Creek Valley’s cooling coastal influence at night, the fruit flavors are delicately balanced with crisp acidity and freshness. The combination of the warm days and cool nights allow for a lengthened “hang” time that cultivates ideal flavors.
