The Dry Creek Valley’s reputation has its deepest roots in Zinfandel. Grapes harvested from vineyards dating back more than half a century yield distinctly rich and concentrated flavors. This intricate blending of old vine Zinfandel vineyards planted on the hillsides and valley floor of the historic valley brings together the dark fruits, refined tannins, and balanced acidity. The old vine Zinfandel’s roots dig deep into the soil, bringing up rich nutrients that add additional levels of complexity to the wine. The warm days and cool nights gently coax the grapes to ripeness. These old vines have roots that reach their own water, allowing for dry-farmed vineyards.
