When Ken and Diane Wilson moved onto their new hillside property in the famed Dry Creek Valley, they invited their friends and family to “The Ranch” for a celebration and cheers. The hillside vineyards planted on the 137-acre estate is referred to as “The Ranch” to this day. The volcanic loam soil and warm daytime climate creates distinctly rich and traditional Zinfandel flavors while the nighttime cooling coastal influence balances the fruit flavors with crisp acidity and smooth tannins. The Wilsons are excited to share a piece of their ranch with you, especially after the inaugural vintage took the Sweepstakes at the 2019 SF Chronicle Wine Competition.
